Planning my first trip to Canada
HOLA, it's the time of the year! Thanksgiving is the only western festival I have a special feeling with, neglect the fact that I cannot spend time with my family. But guess what, it's freinds giving! In the past three years' Thanksgiving, I went to Mammoth Mountain skiing, drove to Desser Hill, and took a road trip to Arizona and New Mexico. It's rare to have any time to cook with my friends during the semester and stay up to really late just for fun. And this year, I'm super excited about the upcoming trip to Vancouver.
Candy Town: I don't like eating candy, but it was so satisfying to just watch them lying perfectly in the candy shop. Plus my friends love candy, so we decide to visit this outdoor Christmas market on Mainland Street in Yaletown from noon until 7 pm.
Fraser Valley Wine Taste: I'm a big fan of icewine. UBC is probably the biggest icewine production factory in the world. The super sweet and smooth icewine is a must import ;)
Find the doughnut: I can still remember how surprised I was the first time I had earl grey doughnut two years ago in Cancun when a friend of me brings a box of this doughnut, let me find it this time!
Vancouver has always been on the top of my bucket list. The national parks and large ports really cause my curiosity. Because I'm going to visit in winter, it's probably hard to visit national parks because of snow, but there are few activities I listed out to do:

Hey Nicole,
ReplyDeleteIt's so exciting to read about your travel plan for the weak after next even I can't go with u. I have heard bunches of plan from people around me, but this is definitely a interested one coz I like the candy town one. I don't like candy either, but I like to photo some pretty shop windows, and I took a lot good pics when I was in Europe last winter. Lastly, enjoy your winter break in Norway! I have a friend from there and I have been told it's a gorgeous place to go.

Your travel plan for Thanksgiving sounds like it will be a lot of fun! As a fellow travel enthusiast, I know the feeling of traveling to new places and enjoying it to the fullest. Unfortunately, I'm not traveling anywhere special this time, so hopefully I can plan a nice trip for the next break. Have fun in Vancouver!
